Pros

Store Managers make pretty good money. Good Health Insurance Very Good Dental Employee discount (if your into that) If your a people person, you meet alot of different people Great place to learn that retail isn't for everyone!

Cons

To many to state, but here go's 6 Saturdays off a year pay is too low for everyone except store manager workload is constantly increasing with no compensation no job security District Managers are slime(it's the truth) sick days, but your supposed to use them No life outside of the store( How could you? Your there all the time) Like I said too many to state

Pros

Lots of commission, nice friendly supervisors usually. Typically the commission is around 3% of sales you make, but you gotta hit the sales quotas. Sometimes they're a bit difficult to hit but usually not that hard. Attractive girls work there too so good luck

Cons

Work is hectic, tight schedules, sales quotas sometimes unreasonable. I sometimes thik they KNOW how much $ you'll hit and purposely put the quota $100/200 higher so you WONT hit it and as a result, get commission.

Pros

-Small team so you get acquainted with folks well and easily -Hybrid during my time there & eventually remote for 5-8 months while new office was being built -Great benefits

Cons

-Supervisors are very knitpicky, hover and micromanage a lot -Everything is always asap, rush, priority so there’s a baseline of stress and tension that is unnecessary -Department refuses to update certain reports and to automate things, often claiming that their way is better and more thorough -Acquired by Dcks Sporting Goods in April 2025, so a lot of uncertainty with team structure and security -Wouldn’t recommend for anyone wanting upward mobility

Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful and balanced perspective. It’s wonderful to hear that you were able to build strong connections with your team, and that the hybrid flexibility and support were meaningful parts of your experience. We also hear you on the challenges, constant urgency and close oversight can definitely feel overwhelming, especially in roles where accuracy and quick responses matter so much. Your honesty really helps, and we truly appreciate you sharing how this impacted you. Thank you again for your thoughtful feedback!
