Pros

The best reason to work for Footlocker is the employee discount, and dibs on limited release shoes. Also a fun, competitive environment.

Cons

Low pay. Very short ceiling on promotion opportunity. Store level employees will most likely never make it past store management. Retail hours are always going to be a con for any company.

Pros

You can gain great customer service experience if you're motivated and you also get good discounts on products. Can schedule around school and/or family life.

Cons

This is a partial commission job so if you aren't looking to engage customers then you won't make money. Hourly rate could be a little higher though. It's less than minimum wage because you are expected to sell and make commission but not all days are guaranteed.

Pros

Great hours, flexibility, nice co workers. You gain a lot of expeirence with these job. Nice discounts on store merchandise. First grab on new sneaker releases.

Cons

Pay is little if you dont sell well. Which is bad because if you dont sell you won't make that much money in the end. Sometimes availability becomes a probem. Everything for the store is online, so if you don't have acess to a laptop you're out of luck.
