Pros

Training is excellent, you get to learn a lot about the business upfront through mandatory training classes that you can apply immediately at your desk. Outstanding corporate culture. Really feels like a family. Diversity is key with this company.

Cons

Little to no room for growth. Career path is challenged and longgggggggggggggg, you are limited too merchandiser, head merchandiser, assistant buyer, buyer/planner.

Pros

good pay if your in school. the more you sell the more you make.

Cons

can be very stressful when people are always trying to steal your sale. If you plan on making this as your career do not get in as a part time worker as it is very difficult to be hired full time once you get there.

Pros

Working at footlocker was my first retail experience. It was great. I loved interacting with customers. Learning the stock room, and learning selling procedures was amazing. the best part was working with coworkers who were like family

Cons

Holidays and tax free days were the worst. When a lot of people are trying to return shoes after the holidays were definitely the worst. When people try to tell you that they haven't worn the shoes when you know they have. you have to be able to deal with people.
