Pros

There is room for advancement in most urban areas due to the large number of stores they own. If you are a fan of sports and or sneaker culture employee perks are great. Access to all the newest merchandise and information.

Cons

Pay is not great usually just enough to get by in whatever market you may live in. Management hours are long including multiple 12 hour shifts per week in most locations. Advancement beyond the store level not realistic in most cases and not mentioned for the most part. No buyer training programs, HR development; nothing. Maybe district manager track discussed but opportunities very limited.

Discounts on shoes, opportunities to network, and a chance to gain sales experience.

Cons

Get paid off of commission, forced to deal with draining customers, forced to interact with feet.
