Great Introduction to Audio Video with stability

Pros

You will learn a ton at this job. There are always new projects with all types of technology involved in AV. You will get to work for big time clients and always have that as part of your career. Company in my experience was always stable and you never had to worry about losing your job. Though this may depend on which office location you are at (some have more sales than others in their area). Not to say you won't have plenty of work but you may have to travel for it if your territory is slow. Can be a benefit if you like to travel. They also are big on promoting within. If you stay loyal to company, they will treat you well and promotions will come. Easy clear path of career advancement.

Cons

Low pay used to be an issue but I believe they have trended up to what other big integrators offer. Can feel high pressure as every hour you are working is billed to a customer.

Very process oriented and principled company. The value you get from them in terms of training and education as well as operating by strong principles , will exceed the competitiveness of their salaries. Growth is not important to Ford, being the best is.

Cons

You will likely make more money elsewhere.
