Terrible management

Pros

Health insurance, pension, triple time holiday pay.

Cons

Pay has become non competitive considering the market. Union works for the company not the members. Employees are not appreciated, never any type of employee functions and or dinners. Corporate loves to waste money on projects that never work, the same people who screw up inside get promoted to waste more money. Does not give employees off on Christmas and does not lay out food like a company that appreciates them for working that day. Do not listen to all the lies in your interview because they do not tell you the truth about what the company values are nor do they tell you the working conditions you will face. Corporate sees all the employees as disposable, only care about themselves and the next lavish party they can throw for themselves.

Pros

Insurance is good Vacation is okay Premium pay on Sundays and holidays Ability to “bank” holidays Union

Cons

Management is disorganized Company doesn’t care about employees. Mindset of we can alway hire new people New projects/ improvement's are not followed through with. Communication between shifts is poor Management/ company are always looking for a scapegoat. Lots of forced overtime. 18hr shifts Management is split into cliques. No routine maintenance is done, then employees are blamed for not catching machine faults Poor on job training/ no follow through. Union does more for company than for the employees. Company offers no bonus or extra benefits Management has no operational knowledge of systems and processes.
