Excellent pay and benefits; workplaces are clean and the company's attitude toward employee safety is the best I've experienced. Good supervision and values, a family company. Dave Fuhrmann is an excellent CEO

Cons

Shift work in plants can be a challenge. Some of the work can be physically hard. Everyone seems to be a Packer fan.

Immediate supervisor is great. Excellent co-workers. Reasonable work load--so far.

Cons

Very poor communication. Slogan is "Question Everything" Reality is "Question Nothing". Top down direction where leadership=being good follower. No opportunity for advancement. You're either part of the clique or NOBODY. Solution to every problem is more vice presidents. Training is very poorly organized or non-existent.

The pay is fairly good and the benefits package is better than average. Foremost Farms is well managed and positioned to weather even the worst economic situations.

Cons

Opportunities for promotion can be hard to come by. That being said, they will promote from within when they can.
