Smoke and Mirrors

Business Outlook

Pros

Nice office space Lots of social gatherings

Cons

Management is lost. Too much time is spent on parties, logos and shiny marketing presentations and not enough time invested in attracting and retaining high quality talent (both new and promoting current high performers). Lots of nepotism within the culture. The "in club" is able to see a future but the high end talent moves on quickly. Many, if not most, of the employees do not trust upper management.

We are an organization that enjoys celebrating our successes and our employees because we know we would not be where we are today without all of YOU! We are working very hard to hire and retain amazing talent across the globe. A strong percentage of our candidate pool comes from employee referrals which is always a positive sign. Yet we are also focused on making sure that we look at diversity in our hiring not just from a gender perspective but from a work history perspective as well. We very much want for employees to feel that they can build a successful career here at Forescout and this requires a partnership between our employees and their managers. Please leverage any internal channel you are comfortable with to let us help. Julie

Upper MGMT LACKS

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

New cafeteria and coffee bar.

Cons

MAJOR disconnect between upper MGMT and everybody else. They recently made a decision to change the company icon instead of putting that money back into their employees. Just garbage...from the CEO (Joke) to his hired goons. A bunch of self-centered morons.

Appreciate your input. The brand project is near and dear to me, so let me address your points. We started the brand project by surveying hundreds of customers, partners, analysts – backed by this research, the investment made was for the future of Forescout, our customers and our employees. We tried to be as transparent as possible about the reasoning behind the rebrand. It was much more than just a logo, but rather a representation of who we are today, and who we plan to be in the future. We are not the same company today than when we were founded more than 15 years ago. It is imperative that we are crystal clear about our positioning and messaging, and have a clean look and feel that best represents Forescout. While we could always communicate better, we were hopeful that by making the announcement via live stream to the entire company, along with a recording and email FAQ, this would have helped clarify any questions around why we decided to tackle the rebrand now. I encourage you to get involved with one of the many working teams we have available at Forescout, where you’ll be able to voice your thoughts and help come up with ways to implement solutions and resolve concerns. Feedback is always welcome and even though our most recent employee satisfaction survey shows continued improvement with high scores in many areas, we will continue to look for ways to get better. -Steve, CMO
