      Pros

      I’m closing in on my 1 year anniversary, and let me tell you, this is a fun place to work! I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews, all the people I’ve worked with seem just as happy as me (I have to work with a lot of organizations outside of my own). There is a lot of exposure here to the Executive team, which I believe is a good thing. I’ve worked in large and small companies – this Exec team is far more aligned than other places I’ve worked. They aren’t competing with each other, they are all working towards our success as a company. The pace here is fast. The G&A groups are clearly understaffed, so that means there are plenty of areas to improve things. If you can work in that kind of environment, then you’ll do well here. It’s easy to make a name for yourself. There’s lots of low hanging fruit.

      Cons

      No company is perfect. ForeScout has a lot of growing up to do. It’s definitely trying. Let’s be realistic – if this company is going to make it to $1B, it has to start working like an enterprise, and not a start-up. Come here with an attitude to help convince others there are better (and more efficient) ways to work. Change is hard and you will be challenged to use your influencing skills here. The culture is still defining itself. This is a growth company with growing pains. It’s not a large monolith with easy 9-5 jobs. I’m the kind of person that likes those challenges. I’d rather be busy making this a better place than bored with nothing to do. The lack of process and structure are apparent. They are trying, so you need to have patience, and you need to help the company get there. The best people that are going to thrive here are the ones that can take us from chaos to organized chaos (it’s not that bad, but you get the idea). People want to do the right thing here, they just need more organized people they can follow.

      A HUGE Mistake

      Pros

      Very few positive things to say about working here. Someone warned me about all of the fake reviews on ForeScout's glassdoor page and I wish I would have listened prior to joining 6 months ago. I see the last 5 have been planted from within. Before joining FS, I spoke to several people that had left ForeScout and they ALL warned me to look elsewhere, but I thought it can't be that bad right? Wrong. See cons section for further explanation. Pros: Friendly people in every department, you just have to find them. - Beautiful office space - Standard befits, pto, compensation

      Cons

      Where do I begin? - Management is a complete joke. Unapproachable and in it for themselves - I saw no hierarchy in a previous fake review...that's laughable - No career advancement - Broken product and broken teams everywhere - Marketing? Is there anyone over there doing anything? - 0 communication between departments. 0 - No business processes - Boring and uneventful work "parties"

Our products solve a unique customer problem for the world's largest companies and government entities, and our customers love them. Growing pains often come when companies scale as fast as we are. But we have some of the best employees here at ForeScout who are smart, dedicated, culture-adds that work hard and enjoy celebrating our successes.       Great place to work and getting even better every day!!!

      Pros

      Hot company in a hot space. Great product with clear differentiation from competitors. Seasoned leadership team, which seems to work really well together and getting better every day at leading a rapidly growing company. Company does really big, strategic deals in US Govt, Financial Services and Healthcare and some day will be doing the same across all verticals and geos. Exciting to be making such a difference in securing companies against the threats of bad actors.

      Cons

      Wall Street still underestimating company, so share price trades at a discount to other security companies (potential for upside as CEO, CFO and CCO seem to be doing a good job getting Wall Street to better understand). Working through growing pains across sales, SDR and marketing, though have made great strides since the big pre-IPO push.
