Best company culture I've experienced

Pros

It's a vibrant culture, people are busy with projects and it feels like a company that is going places. I've worked in a lot jobs with completely toxic cultures over the last 20 years, Form Energy is not one of them. I've been so trained to expect some verbal abuse or rudeness over the years that it almost feels abnormal to not have that. I guess that speaks to the different sort of culture management is trying to maintain at Form. You are treated as an adult and expected to get things done without much supervision at times.

Cons

It's busy, it's stressful. If you cannot work with minimal direction and be self sufficient in getting somethings done or on the flip side be a willing teammate to get the work done. You will struggle here.

Growing Up

Pros

- Form has attracted and hired a ton of really talented people with the promise of doing something really world changing by delivering a energy storage technology that can change what we think of when we think batteries. - Over the last few years the company has taken advantage of several opportunities to accelerate technical development, and has cleared some fairly large technical hurdles. - That success allows many folks at the company to feel like we can deliver a really great product to the market soon enough to make an impact.

Cons

-Form has gone through several growing pains like any start up that hires over 600 people in two years. - The need to have several sites to each accomplish different activities has led to the need to reinvent what Form is every year to embrace that new wing of the company. - Form has a really large group of people who consider themselves leaders within the organization, and as a result there can be some jostling at the reigns as we race to market. - It has now become clear that Form really is a collection of different companies, holding itself together with the need to get a product into market but has not decided at the end of the day what our "product" really is.
