Pros

Great product if it works Company growing at fast pace Good smart people

Cons

Engineers overworked - Industrial engineers are super overworked High pressure to deliver "yesterday" on items that are years away. Then need to redo again and again .... due to countless changes on undeveloped prices processes and equipment 12-16 hour work days Plus an hour commute each way from Pittsburgh

Pros

Absolutely nothing positive. All the talk about Changing the world is a big lie. Place is full of egoist people

Cons

1. Discriminatory behavior. Specially if you are person of color 2. Everyone would expect you to work 16 hours , weekends and it's out of norm of you leave at 5 pm 3. Very narcissistic and unprofessional mid and senior managers. These people have fancy degrees but lack people skills and human touch to work with others. 4. The recent Tesla hires are making this place another Tesla where bullying is rampant, you are constantly under pressure, stressed and never know when you will lose your job. One good /bad thing is these Tesla people are taking over from Boston people (not they were good to work with) 5. If you ar closer to founders or know someone at top your failures are rewarded with another position somewhere else while others get fired for any reason

Pros

The burning ship still floats for now Several talented engineers and operators trying to do good work despite the dysfunction.

Cons

Management culture is a crock pot of political, retaliatory, and inconsistent behavior. The managers execute their own agenda at the cost of impacting others’ timelines. Deadlines are arbitrary but strongly adhered to; the expectation is 10–12 hour days plus weekends. When deadlines inevitably slip, you’re expected to work the next weekend too with another 60–80 hour week to chase the new arbitrary date. Leadership encourages employees to raise concerns, but only as a way to identify who will be “trouble.” There is a concerning disregard for safety, quality, and process improvements. Behind the green-energy branding, the day-to-day environment is toxic and demoralizing. The leadership is over-confident in their own abilities. They hire industry experts only to cage them. Leadership here is a type of cancer that is destroying the great technology. The leadership is over-confident in their own abilities. They hire industry experts to cage them. The leadership at this company is a type of cancer that is destroying the cool technology here.
