Pros

Salary is great for the area.

Cons

I would not recommend joining the company at this time unless you have no other options or are somehow both willing to work 60+ hours a week (including weekends) and able to withstand a company culture with little trust in its employees.

Toxic Work Environment and Unprofessional Leadership

Pros

Some interesting technical challenges in the field (which you won't be allowed or supported to address).

Cons

Management, led by COO Ted Wiley, a founder, creates an authoritarian and fear-based culture. Employees are often made to feel on edge and threatened with layoffs/termination if they speak up or express concerns. Nepotism and Unqualified Hires: COO consistently hires friends and family of friends, many of whom lack basic technical skills (e.g., email, spreadsheets), yet no efforts are made to train them. Excessive, Inefficient Reporting: There’s an overwhelming amount of reporting, which is both excessive and inefficient, adding stress without improving productivity. Unfair Treatment of Employees: There is a high turnover rate, and layoffs typically target those who voice concerns or attempt to improve the workplace. Multiple positions that were "eliminated" are listed as open, showing a lack of leadership and adherence to best HR practices like Performance Improvement Plans (PIP). This makes it clear that the company does not handle staffing or terminations ethically.
