Uncertainty ahead

Pros

The people at Forrester are great. They are smart, invite collaborative thinking, and you feel your direct report cares about your development within the organization.

Cons

I was really excited about joining Forrester, but over the past year or so, senior leaders have become so focused on there new “Forrester Decisions”’Product, that it felt like other groups had to either adapt to incorporate FD or get left behind. Furthermore, the rollout of the new product has been confusing throughout the entire organization. It feels like Senior Management knows a “secret that FD is the key” and the rest of the org is just hoping they are right. So far, they have bet wrong, as the performance of company has been declining, which has resulted in layoffs.

Pros

Used to be great, know I would say to steer clear.

Cons

Below market pay, company morale is extremely low, leadership seems to have no direction. Backwards approach to D&I.

Pros

The job I do is simple enough that I only think about it during my work hours, I can keep work out of my personal life. I can take time off no questions asked which is helpful for appointments and taking needed breaks.

Cons

There's too many cons to list but the most important ones are the following. The C-Suite has zero idea of how to run the business, make a profit & keep their talent. Instead of providing higher pay and promotions to keep the talent Forrester is letting them walkaway, then hiring individuals who don't always fill in the shoes. There's a lot of empty promises about moving within the company but it feels like pulling teeth. They can't handle any complaints and stopped the ability to have live questions during company meetings so they can cherry pick conversation topics. The Sales team doesn't get their quotas or territories solidified until the middle of Q1 which is setting up employees for failure and massive confusion. If the execs were able to run this organization that aspect would be figured out in Q4. The pay is absolutely abysmal that it's truly a joke in comparison to other companies. They are making employees come into office 3 days a week within a radius without paying employees enough to live in the area. At this point the pay is minimum wage which is an absolute joke.
