Pros

Good benefits, some interesting work, everyone is helpful and supportive

Cons

There is no real transition to analyst from RA. Compensation is terrible, you can't expect to hire smart, motivated people from good colleges for under $40k and expect to keep them.

Pros

The people at Forrester across the board are great. Personable, smart, and friendly. There are always a few outliers, but Forrester does a good job of hiring. The work is always interesting and challenging, and the brand is fantastic. CEO George Colony is approachable, and while he may not always agree with you, he will respect your opinion.

Cons

Work balance as analyst is tough because of travel and writing demands. But managers are supportive and try to make it work. Power is centered in Cambridge and the company has become more political over the years.

Pros

- good compensation package for sales - opportunities to meet the executives - 2 good weeks of training in the States

Cons

- A small company which is trying to wear bigger shoes. They hire people in Europe to sell but the analysts are very much NA focus and don't know anything about strong local players - Too pricey - a confusing vision. Forrester started as an IT company but now is role-based focussed and also offer marketing and serve other roles that have nothing to do with technology - A company which doesn't know anything about new business development. All internal - procedures are for account managers - No investment outside NA -No career path - They thrive to be consultative but the reality is that they only focus on productivity and results. - Poor management
