It's an okay position

Pros

The benefits are nice if you are a full-time worker. They are like a family since it's a small county. There are always parties and food.

Cons

As a part-timer there aren't really any benefits, which is okay. You can only work 24 hours a week, not more and not less. The pay is really bad.

Pros

Stable company that has consistent normal working hours. Rare to have to work long hours or weekends. Great place to become established and learn. Typically receive an annual cost of living increase.

Cons

Political environment. The current employees have been here for 20 plus years and aren't open to new ideas and change. Not very much opportunity to move up as those in management position are tenured.
