Working here was the worst experience of my professional life. I was completely misled about everything from company culture, leadership, great opportunities, and stability. It turns out that everything is the opposite of what I was told. Instead of growing, the company is shrinking, and they hire and fire employees without valid reasons. The leadership team's conduct was shameful and a complete disgrace. Overall, this is a toxic workplace that will drain your energy and sanity.

Being in a community where you are valued and cared about as a unique individual is exciting to be a part of. There are many opportunities for growth and to work in different areas to broaden your expertise.

Cons

Being unable to attend events due to covid (which they cannot help) and working from home. If I had to name a con - I think we are understaffed in some areas which can inhbit growth.

Thank you for taking the time to review us! We know that our strength as a financial institution comes from our team members who are just as unique and diverse as the members we serve! Fortera is doing our best to help slow the spread of COVID-19. That means we are not getting together for events like Culture Day and our quarterly All Staff Meetings, to maintain social distancing requirements. Also with COVID-19, we have more team members than ever working remotely which has been a difficult adjustment for some with pets and family members often becoming the coworkers we interact with most on a daily basis. As you noted, another positive thing about Fortera is that we are growing. We are getting bigger and better so that we may more efficiently serve our members. The downside of this growth is that sometimes, depending on the position, it can take time to hire the right team members.

No training unless you consider watching someone do their job training. no guidance your just a number not a worker or part of a team. They lie and act like high school kids. and writes up are notorious.
