Pros

unlimited PTO (I can't think of anything else)

Cons

to begin with, it is nearly impossible to find work when you haven't been assigned anything (and then you will be in trouble for not getting enough hours, trust me, its been 8 months of this) although it is considered a hybrid position, they expect you to be in the office the majority of the time with NO FLEXIBILITY on this (I was threatened with being fired after spending two days in the workplace per week even though it is written to spend 2-3 days per week in office) if you aren't socializing with everyone in the office, you will be considered a liability NO MATTER HOW GOOD AT YOUR JOB YOU ARE (I was told that I was clearly excelling at the work I do and could be doing more difficult work even at an entry level position and they immediately followed this up with the firing threat mentioned above because I'm "not a good fit for the culture") pay is just honestly insulting - I make the lower end of the spectrum for accounting jobs and yet I work at one of the top firms in the country?? make it make sense they inundate you with constant talks about the FORVIS DNA and culture and then they don't even live by their standards of being inclusive and respectful of others' differences in life, working style, etc., all while continuing to brainwash you into believing that FORVIS is the best place to be and everyone working there loves it (its just an illusion to hide the mess behind the surface because trust me, I've been in contact with NUMEROUS other new employees who feel the same as me. I'm not a fluke, I'm bringing the truth to light)

Pros

Maybe there is potential for them to get better? There are many good people in the group who have the potential to make it a better managed firm/department.

Cons

This is a very poorly run team with a partnership group that is stand-offish, bordering on sadistic, and uninvolved. The team is very over-worked and the resulting work product is often very poor. People have been leaving in droves and I'm sure they are all better off as I am.

Pros

No one likes you except the capital.

Cons

Alright, so imagine you're working at this place where your partners treat you like you're some kind of superhero. They expect you to work like a machine, even up to a crazy 100 hours a week, but do they care? Nope, all they're interested in is how fast you're churning out stuff. And get this, when it's time to fill out your timesheet, they want you to write down less time than you actually put in. Like, seriously? You're practically working until your hand starts shaking, and all you get is a measly $1000 bonus at the end of it all. Don't even get me started on the management, especially after they merged the companies. It's like chaos in a blender. And let's talk about Forvis—talk about a company that's all about the money. It's like they've never even heard of treating their employees like human beings.
