Pros

I love my job at Forward Financing. I can honestly say I look forward to coming into work every single day (or at this point logging on from home). I know its cliche to say the team and culture are what makes the company so great but its the truth. I'm good friends with my entire team and we used to enjoy grabbing drinks after work, team lunches/dinners, poker nights etc. Now with the pandemic we still golf and see each other from time to time but they really are the ones that get me through the day. It's a team full of hard workers who are career oriented and ambitious but also know how to keep it fun on a day to day basis. The company used to hold a bunch of cool events like bowling, boat cruise, casino night, red sox, celtics, bruins games, company wide lunches, open bars and seasonal parties/events, and happy hours. It's not all just fun and games though. The company has been extremely successful and has been growing at a rapid pace. If you work here you will be very busy and will need to work very hard. The managers expect a lot from you because they understand your potential and push you to grow. Often times you'll be so busy you'll blink and all of a sudden its the end of the day. Typical work hours are from about 9 - 6. If you're just trying to punch the clock and collect paychecks this isn't the place for you. If you do want to work for a fast paced, growing company, with a young and fun culture I couldn't recommend Forward Financing more. It's the best job I've ever had.

Cons

There are some growing pains with how fast we've grown but we always adjust and keep moving forward!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! We're an ambitious team that wants to help as many small businesses succeed as we can, and we're happy to hear that you feel like this has created an opportunity for progression for many employees. While COVID impacted many of our small business customers, our leadership team tried to be as transparent as possible about the status of the company and feel confident in the direction we're heading in now. Thank you, People and Culture

Pros

You really do get a bit of a "family" vibe, both within your respective team and as a whole. This helps everyone to be themselves, work together and have a good time while doing so. With the environment being pretty fast paced, the days never feel long but the hard work leaves you feeling accomplished.

Cons

Growing pains (not enough space in the last office), but our new office should give everyone plenty of room.

Thanks for taking the time to share your Forward Financing experience! We love to hear that people can be themselves, enjoy their work, and feel accomplished at Forward. And while we outgrew our last office more quickly than we thought and are currently encouraging remote work, we're so excited to have our team back together in our expansive new office space once it is safe to do so. Pros

I am going into my third year with the company and have no intentions to look elsewhere. From the top down the company cares about inclusion, adapts to new situations such as COVID and does the right thing for our employees and customers. The staff and culture are fantastic! They make work really enjoyable. Everyone is always willing to lend a hand and values a "We Before Me" motto. Other perks: We are lucky to enjoy Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins games , unique company events, happy hours and lunches. The CEO and President are accessible and hands on. Through COVID the company had a goal to bring back furloughed employees before August and did just that. They also continued to pay health benefits during that time. FF strives to do the right thing and I'm very happy here!

Cons

No cons besides missing everyone due to COVID.

We can certainly relate to how you feel - since we're encouraging remote work until employees feel comfortable to come back into the office, we really miss seeing everyone's faces every day as well! But we appreciate you sharing that the company is inclusive, adaptable, and team-oriented. Thanks for taking the time to share your Forward Financing experience! - People and Culture
