Rushed through poor training. Team lead immature. Company not respected by other similar organizations.

Thank you for your review. Glad to see that you enjoyed your teammates. Training is an important issue and we're currently implementing a new program to deliver better training for staff that is more frequent and in smaller portions.

Great Work, Not So Great Leadership

Pros

FSC allows a lot of flexibility in your schedule, and (if you are not a case manager) provides an environment where you will not be micromanaged. You have the creative freedom to come up with new solutions to a variety of problems and help customers the best way you can to meet their needs.

Cons

Leadership is terrible. Although there is a lot of freedom, and independence within the various roles in this company, the management staff in the field don't seem to have a clue. Vital classes that teach skills necessary for a customer to succeed are cut because they dont provide a payment. Case managers are forced to "meet their numbers" and if they do not they are scolded, however, by placing people into activities that don't match their goals they also get scolded. It's a lose/lose. There are not enough activities to meet our customers needs. There are is absolutely no training in order for you to be successful in your role. The leadership staff needs to be completely wiped clean, and the new staff needs to be provided proper training. The vision for this company is great. The execution of the mission is horrendous.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Our leadership is appreciated by our staff, with 90% of them saying "I trust and respect my immediate supervisor" in our 2017 employee satisfaction survey. We, of course, what it at 100% and working to improve our leaders' skills through training and support. We agree that there aren't enough activities (or at least the ones we know about) and working both to increase the number of available activities and document them better so staff can search and find matches for customers.

Corporate level managers have no clue what they are doing. Good staff leave, or are asked to leave, yet nothing improves. Time to let the real problems go!
