The Worst Job I've Ever Had

Our district manager was awful. The worst motivator, the worst communicator, the most miserable person I've known in recent months. As managers we were subjected to actual rolling of the eyes when we didn't know an answer to a question. She'd say things like "shame on you" when we missed our sales goals. Shame on you...yeah, that's teaching me how to be positive and motivate others. She caused me to leave, and the manager before me to leave, but I hear recently she was forced to leave so I suppose whatever goes around comes around. The benefits are expensive and there are very large co-pays for hospital stays.

the people are really easy to get along with and work with. also you get good sales experience and meet some interesting customers.

Cons

the compensation level is extremely low in my opinion. the pay is not based on commission therefore there is very little motivation to sell any more units than you have to.
