friendly environment, occasional free gifts, the senior level management was overall very accommodating with scheduling and other requests, you get a free watch if you sell enough

Cons

overall, like with any retail job, it is pretty menial and really got boring after a while - this is even though i was working at the santa monica promenade.

Pros

Not too bad an environment. Generally not stressful, however, sales/stats are central to the business, ensuring productivity. Very helpful in terms of being flexible with hours.

Cons

Changes are made very late in terms of hours being changed On Call shifts are the worst, being that you MUST be available. Pay is not so great in comparison to min wage.

Fossil, overall is a good company to work for. Obviously no company is perfect so a few minor setbacks.

Pros

The pay is actually very decent in comparison to most 'retail' jobs in the industry. They are very selective with those individuals they hire, so most all of them are genuine people with great sense of humors and good work ethic. The job is very relaxed and you rarely have to do any difficult work. Also GREAT discount. 50% Very understanding if time off is needed.

Cons

Upper management from the corporate stance are not so great at communicating. The store I work at has received shipment that was wasteful including hundreds, if not thousands, of catalogues that we were expected to hand out within a MONTH. Ridiculous no one uses catalogues anymore. Also shipment of products we did not need or already had mass amounts of. You don't really get many hours as an associate, at most 20, but never more except for holidays.
