US office has passive agreement leadership and has created adversarial relationships with their clients by constantly overcharging and under-delivering. Often the US style of management was to eviscerated project resources in group chats, in meetings in front of other coworkers, or behind their backs to other employees. And what was sad is that everyone seemed rather desensitized to the routine lashings and treated it as the norm. There's more dysfunction I could share but my advice is to avoid the US office at all costs. It was by far the least professional leadership I've ever experienced and I was actually relieved to be laid off. I was told it was a "fit" problem and then the manager immediately told me one of the clients stopped paying their bills and they were upset about having to let others go soon. NZ HR confirmed that I was a layoff due to no pipeline of work but my manager tried to make it out to be a performance issue after eagerly recruiting me and giving me a glowing review only months prior.
