Pros

Opportunities for improvement Laid back environment Pleasant workforce interaction

Cons

Some complaining at the lower-level from associates that I think stems from frustrations outside of work being taken out at work. A lot of past responsibilities seem to be carried over to different positions rather than taken over by replacements. I do feel somewhat compensated for it though.

Pros

Some people are nice that I met

Cons

Recent changes at the top of Operations was awful. After the third time they have restructured their operational pyramid, there is still a lack of caring about employees, especially mid level managers. To have the highest leveled manager in the operations department be allowed to tell a mid level manager to shut up in front of associates, and think that is okay, describes the toxic culture in the operation. The newly in charge of ops will single handedly sell the soul of his employees to make himself look better, while he talks down to everyone making them feel dumb. The company that spends more time and money on the aesthetics, it is a joke. They said they could not afford bonuses, but somehow found the ability to spend all sorts of money on parties to show off their expansion of the company. They literally spent money on buying cardboard cutouts of the directors, yet spoke on their teams meeting about how they could not afford profit share. Seriously? Learn priorities, and while you are at it, figure out a solution to the high turnover rate that you and operations leadership have caused.
