Pros

Coworkers!!!! After spending 11-12 hours a day plus going in on some days off, it all comes down to your colleagues. You see them more than your family. The ability to travel within the company is fun as you advance your career as well.

Cons

Hours per day. Money is good for what you actually do on a daily basis but pales based on the hours you have to put in. The need to move to undesirable locations in order to pursue advancement.

Pros

-Complimentary nights at other Four Seasons hotels (it can be tough to get these, so you often have to know the right people) -Great employees and team work -Good MIT (Manager in Training) program for college grads

Cons

-As in all hotel companies, the schedule is horrible. Unless you're in an administrative department you do not know your schedule ahead of time, weekends are precious, holidays are scarce, etc. -Upper management and executive committee are constantly worried about their bonuses and the budget and therefore under staffing is a chronic issue -High turnover adds to under staffing -Having to put in a certain amount of years before receiving a promotion, regardless of performance and merit
