Pros

Meet people the exception to this half of them are mgmt and they are all terrible. The money you make is no where near worth your happiness. Something you will not find at Four Seasons.

Cons

I don't know where they find these people that run nearly every department. Mgmt does not care about you, they will show you how I appreciated you are at every opportunity.

Pros

The company sounds good on your resume. Great health benefits package. Free complimentary nights Free meals Line staff people are great until they lose their motivation Good 401K match for 5% of your salary you get 4% matching (free money)

Cons

Low pay for the mid-level managers. For example, guest services manager are making around 60k while working 12-14 hours a day and stay on call on their weekends. So forget about your family holidays and weekends. Free complimentary nights are rarely available/ or available during off season. You are more than welcome to visit Miami during hurricane season or Damascus in Syria during the war. No appreciation for extra efforts. No empowerment or trust from the upper management for the line staff. The managers always think that they know better and get on the way of the experienced associates. Free meals are decent during mon- fri....However; they are horrible during the weekends (why care if most of the managers are not there). The management always emphasizes its superiority. Usually they have 10-15 manager's outing at the company's expense during a year while the line staff employees have only one.

Pros

Benefits: free hotel stays (to many black-out dates though lucky to get in if you are not connected). Free lunch hoilday party, social events

Cons

Afraid of the threat of organizing. Superficial in their praise to their hourly employees yet, managers are pushed to document and terminate for the most simple and at times fabricated infraction .If you are in middle or entry management, work/life balance like no other place, too many hours. work-life balance sucks. I'm being as real as it gets- you wont even have time to go to the doctors. Look for a more honest company with honest values . if you are are looking for employement- take my advice and go work for the Ritz Carlton or Marriott Fairmont Hyatt. You will be promoted if click with the GM and willing to pack your bag and move every 2 years all around the world competence is required
