Marketing Isn't a Priority

Pros

Competitive pay and great health benefits. Hybrid work schedule and flexibility when needing to work from home. Cool trucks and the automotive industry on your resume if that's important to you

Cons

Please take this with a grain of salt and apply what matters to you. There's so much to say here, but the bottom line is that marketing isn't a priority. It takes 6-12 months to hire anyone, and they're not in a rush to backfill needed positions. You'll notice there are a lot of empty desks, and there's a reason for that. They're trying to rebuild, but corporate will not prioritize the vehicle side of the business, only bicycles and parts. I would raise a caution flag for anyone considering working here, and I would be confident that you and the team have the support you need before accepting the offer. The culture is meh. They dissolved the DEI department when I started here, so take that how you will. It's mostly keep your head down and work, and we don't talk to each other much. A former employee told me you have to try really hard to get fired here, and I see what they mean...not because you can slack off, but literally no one cares to watch. Which might be a good thing for you if you don't like micromanagement. The level of organization within the department leaves much to be desired. No task management or any plans are driving what's being worked on. If you crave a close-knit team environment, this is not for you. Not to say they're not nice people.. they definitely are, just need more support. If you love autonomy and not being bothered, you may thrive here to a point. I was somewhere in between, looking for more structure. I would not say this is a place for someone who needs a lot of guidance or their hand held, and you have a lot of autonomy here...almost too much. That doesn't mean you'll be able to do what you want, though. This is a publicly traded company with a lot of red tape.

Gaslit, overworked, underpaid

Pros

None. Other than a few co-workers that are pleasant to work with.

Cons

poor pay, zero leadership, allows retaliation from management after complaints, no clear job duties, no work/life balance. Toxic. No path for growth and bad managers covering for other bad managers.
