Pros

The pay is okay and you become close with those around you. It is a great way to gain experience speaking with customers all over the eastern United States.

Cons

The leadership says the number one core value is relationships first which they do with customers but often fall short doing with their office staff. The company used to give bonuses to their retention team for convincing customers wanting to cancel to keep their accounts open but then changed it where we would have to take the cancel calls and we would not be given any sort of incentive or bonus for doing so. One large issue with the company is majority of the staff do not believe in pest control and are simply helping to get a paycheck. The sales team can be rude to customers or promise things we couldn’t do but we would have to be the ones to fix it and nothing would go back to the sales team. The ownership seems to say everyone treat it like their own company but then place the blame on everyone and everything else besides themselves.

Pros

Reasonable and regular schedules, work with you to get time off, Indoor office job.

Cons

The majority of positive reviews have been from years ago when the company was much better, prioritized their stated values and their workers. Recent growth has led to an overall shift in priorities. Management has become much more prone to micromanaging and controlling, with poor communication of changes, and regard for workers. The typical shift from a small family company abandoning their values and going corporate, without the extra pay to make up for the loss in work quality. A serious lack of transparency. Have tried to enforce illegal policies such as restricting communication around pay, and arbitrarily enforce vague dress code policies differently based on personal bias. Are never fully staffed and will expect you to do more work to make up for it, and will often expect you to be available off-hours but will not pay on call or for this extra work, enjoy this while management takes long lunches and hangs out in the hallways chatting about life. Sales positions are prioritized above all else, expect to make up for their mistakes and take responsibility for it, You will be asked to work in cramped offices, and temperature control is rarely comfortable, they are planning on packing in more people as well so that does not seem to be getting better. They do prioritize the local culture and religion, if you don't match their own biases they will likely not hire you or not promote you, have refused to hire people for having accents, colored hair, tattoos, and piercings. As far as pay goes, recently increased the minimum to 12$ an hour, patted themselves on the back for this increase while the owners bought a second plane and a vacation house by a manmade lake. They will ask the sales reps to break the law to make sales and send people to places they have been explicitly told not to go by local law enforcement, so I wouldn't trust them in other areas either.
