Pros

They will pay for your testing but so will 95% of pest company’s in Houston.

Cons

Below average pay. Owners are not honest about standings of company. 100% sales oriented company everything is made to make the salesman’s job easier. They don’t care about the actual pest service. Little to no training for new techs. Little to no training for sales team in Houston. Turn around rate at home office is Atrocious. This is due to lack of training for office workers. Horrible Routing work that should take 5hours will probably take 8-10 because of routing. No growth plan so the money you make in year one is the same money you will make in year 10. They don’t provide any form of insurance. They open every branch up under a different LLC so they can get away with not offering health care insurance. This company makes slot of Promises that they don’t intend on keeping.

Dear Former Team member, We are sorry that you were unhappy during your time with us. We appreciate your feedback, though we do wish to clarify a few points so that others reading your review will not be misinformed. Fox is unique because we are both a sales company and a service company. This dichotomy has occasionally lead to feelings of resentment from certain team members who feel "the other side" is getting all of the attention (service team feeling that sales is more favored and vice versa). This is something we are very aware of and put a great deal of energy into ensuring all team members feel valued. We also have specific training programs for Sales, Technicians, and Office staff. We continuously work to improve these programs so that our team members feel confident in fulfilling their responsibilities. Finally, it is true that we are a young company that cannot yet offer all of the employee benefits that more established companies can. However, as our customer base grows, so do our employee benefits. We constantly strive to uphold our company's core value of "Share the Profits." We regret that we did not part ways on better terms. We wish you the best going forward, and hope that you find a career that is fulfilling to you. Sincerely, Michael Stokes, Chief Operating Officer

Pros

Encouraging team leaders. I firmly believe this is the best pest control company to ever exist, and for the best price. They pay you very well and have a true desire to help you grow and become a better person so you can not only succeed in sales but also in life. They are so invested in making you better that the team leaders are incredible mentors to keep your entire life.

Cons

I personally dont believe pest control is a necessity.

Dear Fox Team Member, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are happy to hear you feel valued in your work and supported by your mentors. We appreciate your honesty about not wholeheartedly feeling pest control is a necessity. This is very understandable, especially if you, like many of our reps, are from Utah or Idaho. In cooler, dryer climates, pest control can more easily be managed by the home owner. However, in warmer and more humid states, pest control can be very difficult for the average person to manage on their own. You could compare it to an in-ground sprinkler system. In Utah, this is essential to keep your lawn green. However, if you talk to someone back east about a sprinkler system, they likely have no need for one because there is enough rain to water the grass. The same principle applies to pest control. I hope this helps your understanding of this subject. If you'd like to talk more, I would be happy to visit with you in my office. Sincerely, Michael Stokes, Chief Operating Officer
