No mapping of skill sets and educational back ground in project allocation. This leads to two problems. 1. An MBA, stats and economics grad feel they are working on something that's completely irrelevant to their field of study. 2. Engineers feel that they get paid marginally less though they do the same job as that of an MBA. Eventually, both the reasons result in high attrition Got an investor last year, which is putting more pressure on achieving growth targets and that is pushing the company to accept all sorts of work that generate revenue If you get to join the most prominent client account of Fractal, you are screwed as it is purely reporting and hardly anyone works on actual analytics there Middle management(analytics lead and senior consultants) of the prominent client account(as I know about only those) is pathetic. Many of them don't even know the difference between 'analysis' and 'analytics'. They abuse business jargons in the meetings without understanding the meaning. Most encouraged initiatives are to build operational excellence and that shows the company is nothing but a KPO Though the senior leadership is good, they have lost the control and they do not know what the kind of work analysts do in their respective projects Not the right company for MBA, stats, maths and eco grads. You will be disappointed with the kind of work you do(unless you are extremely lucky)
