Pros

The opportunity to move across teams, in house training and the office culture or vibe is quite positive. You get really good benefits, including medical aid, study leave and excellent maternity packages.

Cons

However, they will make empty promises. They do cycle through employees every 2 years and blame it on clients who moved to competitors or decided to make use of in-house services, due to the ridiculously high fees charged.

Pros

There are no pros at this point not even free fruit twice a week helps.

Cons

Everything seemed good at the start, but within six months it went downhill. There’s constant micromanagement and unrealistic expectations. Even when you’re doing your job well, you’re pushed to do more and if there’s nothing more to give, you’re questioned and even threatened with a PIP. It’s a constant cycle. Career progression is almost impossible unless someone senior leaves. Development opportunities are promised but never materialise. Your work is constantly scrutinised, and there’s little trust even minor tasks come with repeated “have you done it yet?” messages, leaving no breathing room. Then comes the business decision of offshoring to other countries for ‘cheaper’ labour when the work produced is abysmal and not up to standard is honestly hilarious. The workload is varied but inconsistent, making it hard to showcase meaningful achievements on your CV. Despite the “coordinator” title, the role feels more like glorified admin or a personal assistant, with no recognition or ownership of your contributions. The environment is tense, and mistakes, even small ones, are harshly criticised. Morale is so low that many colleagues are actively looking to leave, some even considering retail jobs for a better experience. Your body and your mental capacity will reject this company wholeheartedly. Do not apply until they fix there own internal structure and how higher ups respond to others without shouting and belittling.

Pros

Good introduction to corporate legal work, kind and friendly colleagues

Cons

Very hierarchical, with little room for growth. Some more senior attorneys not promoted to partnership even after about a decade of leadership experience with the firm.
