Pros

Get free food sometimes. Incredibly large name in the immigration world. Good for someone looking to start a career in law, but definitely wouldn't want to stay there.

Cons

Work is essentially reproducing the same thing over and over and is mind-numbing. Hard to find passionate, intelligent people working there. Had to work with very new associates, who had no idea how to manage individuals. Very poor company organization. Pay is very low compared to other paralegal work.

Pros

You won't physically die. You gain a healthy appreciation for suicidal thoughts. You will have ample time to ponder the monotony of existence while working at your standing desk. You will understand what incompetence really means.

Cons

You will slowly die inside. Your IQ will drop 20 points just by being here. Your time at this legal sweatshop, filling forms, sending mail, and updating old computer systems (Lotus Notes? Really?) will be worth absolutely nothing to other employers. Nothing you do here will help advance your career or life in anyway. The pay is a joke. Almost as much of a joke as the lawyers are.
