      Paralegal - The Ultimate Cog in the Machine

      Pros

      - Free dinner and a ride home if you work late (which you always do) - My base salary was just under $40k, but with overtime it ended up being closer to $50k - pretty good for an entry level job out of college. - I was able to quit and go to law school = only worked there less than a year

      Cons

      - The work is incredibly boring and repetitive, but it also needs to be perfect. - There's no opportunity for advancement, unless you count being a senior paralegal, which is basically the just more of the same work. - Soul-crushing environment, slightly ameliorated by occasional birthday cupcakes

      Nice office space and proximity to transit.

      Cons

      Where to start... management cares little about its employees. Moral is something you feel is a constant low, and you don't have time to connect with your coworkers as they are just at preoccupied appeasing management. It's a never ending rat race. Praise comes seldom and when it's right it's just ok.
