      Pros

      High volume caseload means you get very familiar with the immigration types you are working with. Lots of opportunities with other firms when you burn out.

      Cons

      Flouting of employment laws, long hours expected, no carrot / all stick, no work/life balance, no flex hours or consideration given to employees with chronic illness/ill children. Misogynistic management with a history of inappropriate behaviour towards staff. High turnover.

      Pros

      Lots of perks with food and fun work outings, the people who work there are really friendly and and make being at the office a lot more fun.

      Cons

      The work itself gets very tedious and repetitive, and there isn't much skill building to be done beyond learning more about different types of visas. Only really recommend the position if you have an interest in going into this type of law.
