      Not a bad place to work

      Pros

      Very safety focused, decent benefits and compensation. Low cost of living in a company town. Great place to start a career. Lots of opportunity to learn about other parts of the copper process, and some really knowledgeable people to learn from.

      Cons

      Diversity is lacking. Moving up can be more based on who you know rather than capability. Town can be stifling after a bit, since it's a small town. Nepotism can be an issue here, too.

      Pros

      The company pays good bonuses. Wages are mid-level compared with other Fortune 500 companies.

      Cons

      High pay is required to compensate for poor treatment and 14% annual attrition. Salaried employees are required to work minimum 50 hours per week but 60 hours per week are normal and management tracks you. Bonuses are large but not sufficient to balance the poor treatment of the workforce.

      Pros

      Very few. Working the hours of 4:00am to 2:00pm makes the weeks go by faster. Working with very "simple" people.

      Cons

      Little attention given to those lower down on the totem pol. Unsafe working conditions due to Drunken Staff Workers Brought in from other parts of the world without any training.
