Pros
Good benefits. Starting pay is decent, maybe? Individual contributions are somewhat recognized. Will hire and go to great lengths to keep anyone regardless of work ethic. Repressive culture may be in the midst of a change for the better.
Cons
High expectations with often disproportionate pay. Poor Organization & Communication throughout. Favoritism and charm would get you everywhere in the past, maybe still? Mentally stressful and physically demanding environment with little support. Evaluations are typically rigged and used to raise the wages of those who are mediocre and control/limit the wages of those who are exceptional.
