Pros

The pay is great here. Management tends to leave you to your job an doesn't hover over you like some other employers do. The work is easy and typically the most difficult part of your day is balancing the completely offset workload.

Cons

Corporate is clueless. Random dispatch times throughout the day makes it near impossible to keep commitment to customers. Corporate always has new ideas of "how to make things better" with no logic on what we are already doing in the field. Stock steadily falling and union is non-existent when you actually need them. Getting any seniority in this position would take minimum 15 years.

Pros

Good pay and every Tuesday all of management disappear for 3-5 hours. Benefits are good as long as the union contract is valid and Frontier doesn't try to take things away on the next negotiations (which they will).

Cons

No constant days off, very random. Management is always breathing down your neck trying to catch you doing something wrong. Management has nothing to do since the transition so they pick on the agents. They do not know what they are doing and have no clue what we do. They always have "great" ideas that not only make no sense and do not help the customers in the long run. Network techs now basically fix all the mistakes the front line reps commit (everything) and we end up getting yelled at all day from pissed off customers that are expecting techs since the front line agents have no clue how to do their jobs and promise techs for every customer so they will quit being yelled at. This is a jack of all trades, master of none type job. You will get "training" which may be as simple as reading a document or better yet watch a crappy video made by another employee that is fast tracked to become management try to explain something they barely understand. Then 6 months after you receive the training you will get your first call on the subject and be expected to be the expert on it as if you received the training yesterday. You will get to do this for 2-3 days and then have to wait another 6 months before it happens again and everything you finally learned is all forgotten.
