Pros

Great Salary. Great health and retirement benefits

Cons

I worked for this company starting with GTE/Verizon and then frontier for 18 years. We were laid off November 30, 2016 and did not recieve severance til December 30,2016. We had employess who could not afford Christmas dinner. I personally emailed Dan McCarthy about us not having our severance and there was no reply, Karma wil come for this company. No real advancement, jobs always in fear of being cut

Pros

Best people you will ever work with. They truly hire the best people to work at Frontier. You will feel like you're at home with family.

Cons

They offer promotions and then take them back, they are consistently changing policies and asking you to remain "Frontier Flexible" so that they can continue to change up the work environment with little to no advance warning. They don't offer room for growth (even if the same people have been above you forever- and now know nothing about the product they support) and they recently cut bonuses and took away pay for performance. So even if you work there for close to two years, you get paid as much as a new agent. This place used to be the dream, and now it's a nightmare.

Pros

the competitive pay and benefits

Cons

The companies upper management is completely detached from the actual reason this company is failing. As part of the recent "restructuring" the company let go seasoned employees, many of whom were employed by GTE/Verizon/Frontier for 20+ years, to replace us with minimally trained vendors. We were asked to retain customers that were being put through hell with the recent conversion, with limited to no offers. At the point of being provided actual retention offers, the company had dug the hole too deep. Upon being told we were losing our jobs all blame was put on us saying "you could have all tried a little bit harder". Often times it was apparent we cared more about the customers than the company. With each contract negotiation benefits were taken away, yet we were asked to do more.
