Pros

Gives the employee the opportunity to learn new technologies and work with knowledgeable engineers.

Cons

No flexibility in the position. Had to be in the office 100% of the time. Also, management was unwilling to allow reimbursement for lunches or hotel costs for travel. Most travel is local, but some of my travel would take me all day by company car to reach specific offices, and management would not reimburse any charged expenses.

Pros

The pay is ok, but you do work hard for it. Good benefits.

Cons

The training is awful. A lot you have to figure out yourself. The company needs to find where it's future is. Copper telephone lines are a thing of the past.
