Great Community Development

Pros

Frontier Communications has worked hard to promote and engage with the communities where it works. They have a great Veterans program, and do a lot of wonderful work in community development.

Cons

Frontier's Senior Management has moved the company forward and driven great growth. However, there is not always openness to hearing employee feedback and it is more of a top-down culture.

Pros

Sales and service technician is actually one of the higher paying jobs because it is negotiated through a union. Being able to drive on your own is also a plus because it provides a little bit of freedom rather than sitting in a building all day looking out if the windows.

Cons

Not all supervisors were once technicians so a good number of them do not know what it takes to rehab the plant within the network. Quantity of jobs per day seems to be the focal point, not quality. Angry customers are never fun to deal with either.
