Pros

decent pay, but see the Cons for the other side of it.

Cons

Terminated me as part of downsizing, closed the office a couple months later and moved the jobs from IL to TX and SC to not have them in a union and pay lower wages and benefits.

Pros

Good pay and benefits; worked at home

Cons

No employer loyalty - everyone is expendable; constant management changes; unrealistic sales goals to the point that co-workers would "steal" each others sales or would change the employee codes on "lost" orders to meet their goals. When brought to the attention of my manager about a co-workers underhanded dealings, lying to and slamming customers, I was told to mind my own business (even though I felt it was my business since some of the customers/orders that he slammed were mine). By the way, this underhanded person is now a supervisor - how ironic. I worked for this company for over 7 years. I always made goals and was offered positions into management. I did not take the management offers as it seemed they were more expendable than the on-line representatives. My employment ended when I got sick. I was going to doctors and eventually had to have surgery. After I returned to work after my surgery, I had complications and was rushed to the hospital. I was not able to call in, however, my co-worker/friend advised my supervisor where I was and what was going on. I was fired for "no call/no show".

Pros

The pay and benefits are good for union employees.

Cons

The company does not have any clear processes or procedures, everyone just does their own thing and hopes it's right. Tech managers don't care about their areas and dispatchers are pushed to dispatch techs to areas that have no techs. Imagine how that works out and then to get blamed for it. The internet service is horrible for customers and appointments are never met.
