Pros

Work hours are M-F 8:00AM to 5:00PM with some overtime. Compensation for job is negotiated by union contracts which helps to keep benefits and pay higher than other locations Frontier operates. Upper management has preconceived notions and does not change opinions regardless of proof provided in the errors of decisions.

Cons

The company would like to use as much contractors as possible. The company seems to eye the dollars they can get on a contract today more than contracts over time (3 year or 5 year customer contracts).

Pros

As a former Verizon employee we still had a pretty good contract were able to keep a lot of compared to the Legacy people who work 15 miles away.

Cons

Management is out of touch with no telephony background. They only hire sales people and they don't do that well either.

Pros

Steady job, great co-workers; If you are an onboard, " all for corporate" type puppet, you will go very far in the company. Lots of hard-working employees trying to do the best for the customer that they can with the resources that they have available to them.

Cons

Call center environment, not for everybody. Being at a desk with a headset attached to a phone for 8 to 10 hours a day can wear on a person. Protocol, policies, and procedures are forever changing. Inconsistent rules and policies across the center depending on what coach you are working for. contract negotiations are ongoing right now. Employees are stifled from resolving customer issues in an effective, efficient manner. Harder and harder to meet goals and make commission as more qualifying steps kept getting added to the criteria.
