Pros

Easy work due to being a low tech rural phone company. Premier products/services are voice, DSL and satelite TV service (stuck in the 90's). The company does offer decent benefits.

Cons

The company is in major chaos as a result of acquiring 14 states from Verizon. The systems are a mess and senior leadership doesn't know what to do with the FiOS product. In a reactionary mode to the cable competitors.

Pros

Lower level employees are good competent people.

Cons

Management does not have a good handle on how to suceed. There is not enough investment spending. Legacy systems are worst than most telecomm companies.
