Pros

Good work life balance. 2 weeks shutdown at the end of the year giving some time to relax and de-stress. Decent benefits and 401k match. Decent Japanese food served in their cafeteria.

Cons

Highly confused management team leading to a finger-pointing and poorly managed work environment. De-motivated employees who are looking to exit the company but unable to do so as the poor work environment has sucked out their inner confidence to do so. No stock options and below market compensation. Extremely difficult to innovate or to perform in your job as you will need to get several approvals before your project will be green lighted. Very very slow work environment that does not enourage innovation and will render you useless if you put in more years into this company. Highly political and back stabbing is rampant throughout the organization even by your own peers and boss. Management does not communicate to the employees and is not transparent with what's going on leading to high levels of distrust.

Pros

- Local team and people are great - Good work culture - Interesting work, changes often - Training when required and asked for - Defence Clearance sponsor

Cons

- Corporate management are useless, no idea about industry trends or how to disrupt the market (all are old sales people, no young tech people) - Always one step behind, slow to change and innovate - Australian CEO appears to be running the local company into the ground, more concerned with cost cutting and margins than investing in the right people and technology - Employee benefits are basically non-existent

Pros

Friendly co-workers. There are many processes that you can learn.

Cons

Fujitsu America outsourced the IT team in Sunnyvale to offshore. The entire IT team was laid off in one day. The technologies are old as there is no budget to keep up with the upgrades.

Thank you for your review, good to read that you valued your co-workers and had the opportunity to learn a variety of processes within the given environment. Regarding the offshoring of the IT resources at this location; sometimes within global organizations like ours, it is necessary to take less friendly measures to reduce expenses so the company can continue to develop and grow. We wish you the best with your opportunities and thanks again for sharing your feedback freely.
