Pros

Incredibly thoughtful coworkers who are a pleasure to work with and will push you to do your best work. Experienced management team you can trust. Fun culture that is surviving scale stage. Flexible work hours / schedule because managers trust you to get your work done and empower you to do it.

Cons

Outgrew current building so team is split in different locations (new HQ opening soon though) Can be some ivory tower-ism with respect to competitors

Pros

Really smart and talented coworkers. High engineering bar and great design team. Exciting and well implemented product. Remote work friendly. Thoughtful and empathetic leadership.

Cons

The pace of growth of the company means that new processes need to be developed every 6 months or so.

Pros

This company is so different from any other. While a lot of start ups get stuck in the "move fast break things" mentality, FullStory decided to move fast _deliberately_ and _learn_ from breaking things. This idea has been built into every part of the company's DNA thanks to thoughtful leadership and intelligent, out-of-the-box-thinking coworkers who have created the company they wanted to work for. A few other things that immediately stuck out to me: - Founders are super involved on day to day, Bruce in particular makes a point to know everyone's name. - FS puts employees first and that isn't just lip service. The 401k plan, the benefits plan, the parental leave, the orientation, etc show that no matter what 'level' of employee you are you are treated with respect and they're happy to have you. - Weekly 'all hands.' Company transparency is on a whole other level here. Everyone is given an opportunity to listen and learn about what other depts are working on + 'toast' coworkers in these informal weekly meetings. - Level of thoughtfulness. Every decision is fleshed out and made with a purpose (ie moving deliberately, not just fast). Overall just really grateful to have the chance to work in such a great environment with such awesome people.

Cons

A little hard to get accustomed to structure, but that's only because it's so much different from anywhere else. Additionally, you may have a hard time getting super clear guidance on projects. That's, again, a part of the "culture shock" -- this is the most autonomous place I've ever worked and it can get tricky to know when to ask permission and when to ask forgiveness.
