Good seminary, good people, sometimes fiscal challenges.

Pros

They genuinely believe in their theological calling as a seminary. Decent transparency from leadership to staff. Decent work/life balance.

Cons

Sometimes too much restructuring. Low pay--but then again, it's a seminary. You probably shouldn't expect incredibly high wages from a seminary, depending on your position.

Pros

The people are wonderful. Everyone here has a pretty strong work-life balance.

Cons

Employees are pretty spread out. The staff-faculty dynamic isn't always the easiest, but it is getting better. Raises are no longer being given due to the seminary's financial state.

Pros

The work environment at Fuller is very congenial and neighborly. I didn't want to leave the school because I had such a great coworkers. I still keep in touch with them, even though I've left the seminary.

Cons

Fuller Theological Seminary is currently in very deep debt. I was laid off due to the financial instability of the school. They are in talks to move the school from Pasadena to Pomona.
