Pros

CEO is a true legend and visionary. Willing to work with anyone who is willing to put the time and effort in themselves. Great culture and location in Santa Cruz where you can bring your dog to work and can walk around downtown. Most employees have been at the company for a long time and are very friendly and knowledgable about the products and technology. They make really great products and technology that is fun, exciting, new and the team allows individuals to voice their opinion and be heard creatively.

Cons

Small company means you may have to work late hours at times. The pay is not what you would get on the other side of the hill. If you are willing to go out of the way and learn on your own you are going to be fine, but there is not a lot of training and oversight.

Pros

Great work culture and location (You get to bring your dog!). Extremely friendly personnel. Fullpower is a small company so everybody knows each other, which also means you can (and will have to) directly talk to and work with members in other teams. Additionallt no matter what your role is, there is room to take on projects outside your wheelhouse allowing you to flex your techincal chops.

Cons

As it is a small company, there is less insulation from upper management, meaning sometimes requirements change on the fly, keeping everybody on their toes.

Pros

Very good working environment, a lot of collaboration and no nonsense. Open to experimentation and research. Full technology stack from hardware to machine learning is in house, so there is a lot of variety and new things coming every day. Teams are small enough, so you feel useful and your contributions are recognized.

Cons

Nothing major besides what you should expect from a company with a relatively small size: there are few people within your own area of expertise, so you are sole responsible to keep yourself updated.
