Pros
When you have great administration, life is great. Teaching the subject I teach, I get a lot of latitude on how it it taught, so long as I am covering the standards and pacing.
Cons
If you have bad administration, they can make your work life very difficult. Quality of administration varies greatly from school to school. A lot of the admins spent minimal time in the classroom as a teacher and it often shows.
