If you are a horrible person, you seem to thrive here. Those with integrity and morals get overlooked, undervalued and underpaid. Everyone runs around as if things are on fire, because no one has any idea what is going on. Everyone is constantly stressed and sighing. Growing pains is not a valid excuse. I made several processes that worked great, really turned around the department. No one is held accountable. If you are “a nice guy” and liked by the CEO your lack of skill set seems to be overlooked. The CEO hires some of the worst people, they present themselves as this expert to save the day. They lack any real connection to the brand or fan base. Years of growth over and over. The people at the bottom make that happen. Not these “experts” with expensive paychecks they seem to hire. Everything is shady, HR is one of the worst departments. Things are done behind people’s backs. They will look the other way if they are told to do so. The great days are behind them. Most of the talented, hard working people are gone. The vibe left is a mean girl/boy club full of insecure “leaders”, whom will continue to tell you how great they are - at a previous job. No one cares about your collabs, this entire company is a collab. Making money off others IP. Gatekeeping is so common here, everyone wants a win, few team players who actually care. Your experience will greatly depend on your manager, if you’re lucky enough to get one of the few (I mean few) who actually have management skills. They do no training or investing in employees. Reviews are awful or nonexistent. You have a leg up or against you if you are a white male.
