Coming from the healthcare industry of 7 years working in HR and recruiting, working at Funko has taught and brought out my true potential as a recruiter. I love meeting creatives on a daily basis and being able to brag about where I work! I strive to give everyone the best initial phone conversation and make it a memorable one even if they don't get moved on. As recruiters, I feel we get a bad rep for not being engaging and I treat every candidate I talk to special and make it the best experience they have had. Funko has given me the ability to truly express and be myself in the role I am in. My team is amazing and I feel like I constantly brag about how supportive they are. My manager is great and someone I feel I can go to for guidance and mentoring. I mean this when I say our team is assembled like the avengers and I know I can count on them whenever I need help.
