Great and not so great...

Pros

Fun culture, great work environment, you get addicted to Pops, great perks at the office (Gym, Bowling Alley, slides next to the stairs and so forth), discount on Merchandise.

Cons

Management needs work in the Technology space (not I.T.). Favoritism is rampant. Managers can be a bit bitter when you know your job better than they do. Manager used to work for a consulting company, then brings that company into place and slowly drains the work from other employees leading to the release of employees that are not "in favor" of management. Benefits are good, but they are very expensive. The company started (this year, 2017) to help with the cost of premiums, but are still way above what other companies offer.

Pros

Only thing good about working here is some of the friends I made.

Cons

I don't really know where to start. I guess I'll start with the hours demanded to be worked. Not everyone wants over time hours or to work weekends. Occasionally, is fine but the last year there were more weekends worked than not. Some of us plan our weekends out in advance, so giving us two days notice that we have to work, just plain sucks. Also, some of the leads and supervisors are a joke. Can you say favoritism at best is alive and well at Funko..... As is dirty jokes, and sexual harassment. I've never worked at a company before that allows people to get away with so much and with just a slap on the wrist at that. Ive seen guys touch girls butts, say crude jokes and barely have two words spoken to them in regards. The relationships between many, including supervisors, is wrong and needs to be addressed. HR can't be taken seriously honestly at this company. Many feel that they can't approach the HR department and get actual help. The division between warehouse workers and front office is noticed and felt by all of the warehouse. All should be held to the same standards, whether it be regarding drug tests or working weekend. Many of the weekends the warehouse workers are having to work are because of the front office but yet, they aren't anywhere to be found during those times. The pay is low. Many of the positions would pay much more at any other company. Kinda sad considering Funko is a company who is rapidly growing and many employees are shown little reward or appreciation for all the hours put in, especially during the end of the month. Raises are low and sparse. Bonuses are no longer, since they went corporate. Box of chocolates for Christmas to say thanks and a 100 dollar gift card. Could be worse but honestly, just goes to show how little they value their employees. Reconsider working here. Too many other jobs out there to end up being overworked, underpaid and many times, treated poorly.

Fun but can be too much.

Pros

Funko is full of passionate people that embrace pop culture inside and outside of work. There is family like atmosphere and no work day is ever the same.

Cons

The fast pace can be too much. 9-5 work hours does not apply here.
